We've rebuilt registration around how people actually register, not around a list of tickets.
Starting today, PheedLoop's redesigned registration experience is available for every event. It makes registering clearer, faster and more intuitive, especially when one person is registering several attendees. The way registration works and feels has changed. Your tickets, pricing, promotions, payments, confirmations and reporting all work the same as before.
An Attendee-First Registration Flow
The biggest change is the move from a ticket-first flow to an attendee-first one.
Registrants no longer pick tickets first and then fill in details for each one. Now they add an attendee, enter that person's information once, and select every ticket that belongs to them. To register someone else, they add another attendee and repeat.
Registering a team of ten now takes one pass per person instead of one per ticket. Nobody has to type the same names and emails over and over, and it's always clear who each ticket belongs to.
Register for Yourself or Someone Else
Whether someone is registering themselves, a colleague, a family member or a whole group, the new flow keeps the registrant separate from each attendee. Separate Registrant Information and Attendee Information steps make it obvious whose details are being entered at every point.
Collect Information at the Right Time
Questions now appear at the step where they belong. Information collected when registration starts is kept separate from information needed during ticket selection. That way registrants don't hit steps that don't apply to them.
Built for Membership and Association Events
The new experience also improves registration for organizations with membership-based requirements.
Smarter Eligibility with Tags
Contact tag requirements and exclusions are now checked against member records. This uses the same eligibility logic you already use for ticket tag restrictions.
Easier Member Identification
If you use a supported SSO or person-record integration, PheedLoop can recognize members and apply the right member or non-member tags automatically. Registrants see the options that apply to them, and you stay in control of who can access each registration option.
What Isn't Changing
Tickets, categories, promotions, payments, confirmations and reporting all work as before. The update improves the experience around these tools so registration is easier to understand, easier to complete, and better suited to registering multiple attendees.
A Gradual Transition
You don't need to do anything right now. We're rolling the new experience out in stages so your team has time to get familiar with it:
- October 1, 2026: The new registration experience is available as an opt-in for all events. It's off by default, and you can turn it on anytime from Registration > Settings.
- December 3, 2026: Newly created events will use the new experience by default, though you can still opt out. Existing events won't change unless you turn it on.
- Early 2027: We'll announce a date for full migration.
That gives you time to explore the new flow, prepare your registration setup and switch over at your own pace before it becomes standard for everyone.
Registration now works the way your registrants already expect it to: group registrations get through faster, and every ticket arrives tied to the right person.
